Gentleman's Ebony Cane - Restoration

This cane arrived with two nasty cracks in the shaft. A solid ebony shaft - making this cane a gentleman's dress accessory. Ebony makes a beautifully polished accent to a wardrobe, but tends to be brittle and can shatter under stress. Often used as inlay on stronger canes, solid shafts are not for functional support. The ivory handle also has a minor hairline crack, but generally these are left undisturbed if they are not causing a structural issue.
